INSURANCE

I am a fully participating provider with  Anthem Blue Cross and  Blue  Shield, and I accept any  Blue  Shield plan  nationwide.

I also accept all  standard Medicare B plans .  Most patients have a supplementary plan to cover the modest co-pay not covered  by Medicare, but even without that coverage, outpatient psychotherapy under Medicare is quite affordable.

I am also able to submit charges for psychotherapy to other insurance plans that pay out-of-network providers.  If you have a PPO plan, I'd be happy to find out how much they cover and how much you would be responsible for. 

Some  patients choose to pay for psychotherapy out of  pocket, leaving insurance out of the equation altogether.
